Blanco Valley Homes is a subdivision of DAH Builders, owned and managed by David Anderson, a long‑time San Antonio–based builder. Through DAH Builders, Anderson has built more than 2,500 homes across San Antonio, Bulverde, Boerne, Helotes, Canyon Lake, New Braunfels, Pleasanton, and Rockin J Ranch in Blanco. Blanco Valley Homes reflect DAH Builders’ commitment to quality craftsmanship and personal attention from start to finish.
Beyond building exceptional homes, DAH Builders is deeply committed to community involvement. The team participates annually in the Race for Life supporting cancer research and in Rebuilding Together, helping renovate homes for low‑income families. Meet the Blanco Valley Homes Team
David Anderson
Owner/Builder
With a wealth of experience gained from years spent working alongside major construction companies, David founded DAH Builders, LLC. Boasting over 35 years in the industry, it has long been his passion to provide homebuyers with expertly crafted homes featuring custom features at prices that are within reach.
David stands out as one of the few Graduate Master Builders in San Antonio and holds certification from the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB). He serves as a Life Director of the Texas Association of Builders and has previously held the position of president for the Greater San Antonio Builders Association (GSABA), remaining actively involved in both organizations.
In 2007, he received the Campbell's Lifetime Achievement Award, and throughout his career, he has garnered numerous accolades at the Parade of Homes events, including being named Builder of the Year on two occasions. David has also served as the past Chairman of the Greater San Antonio Education Foundation, which provides scholarships for students at both UTSA and St. Phillips College.
Jerry Smith, Jr.
Manager/Builder
Jerry is a seasoned builder with over 40 years of experience and proudly hails from a family of builders spanning three generations. Among his notable achievements is his election as President of the Young Builder's Club in his mid-20s, followed by his role as the 2002 President of GSABA and being honored as the GSABA Builder of the Year in 2005. In recognition of his remarkable contributions to the industry, he received the Campbell Lifetime Achievement Award from GSABA in 2014.
A life member of the Texas Association of Builders, Jerry has also held the position of past President of the Homeowners Warranty Council of Greater South Texas. Furthermore, the City of San Antonio appointed him to serve three consecutive terms on the Plumbing Appeals and Advisory Board, in addition to spending 11 years on the City’s Building and Fire Board of Appeals.
